Description
Beat the heat with this ridiculously refreshing watermelon slushie – hydrating, naturally sweet, and easy enough to make daily!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups diced seedless watermelon (freeze half for better texture)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice (optional for extra brightness)
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice (optional, based on watermelon sweetness)
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
Instructions
- Dice your watermelon into chunks. Freeze half for at least a few hours or overnight. Keep the other half chilled.
- Add frozen watermelon, fresh watermelon, lime juice, sweetener, and ice to a blender.
- Blend until smooth. Start slow, then increase speed until the slushie texture is perfect.
- Taste and adjust – add more sweetener, lime juice, or frozen watermelon as needed.
- Serve immediately in glasses. Snap a pic – it melts fast!
Notes
For best results, use a ripe, sweet watermelon and freeze at least half of the chunks. A high-speed blender gives the smoothest texture, but any blender will do!
