Description

Warm, flaky crescent rolls stuffed with creamy sausage filling and a zesty twist from fire-roasted tomatoes and green chilies—perfect for brunches, potlucks, or lazy weekends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound of mild breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 6 ounces of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (10 oz) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes with green chilies, well-drained
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cans of crescent roll dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine cooked sausage, cream cheese, drained tomatoes, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and cut along perforated lines. Slice each triangle in half lengthwise to make 32 triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling at the wide end of each triangle, roll up, and place seam-side down on the prepared sheet.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown and fragrant.
  6. Let them cool for a minute before serving.

Notes

Drain tomatoes thoroughly to avoid soggy dough. Keep crescent dough cold until ready to use. Don’t overfill to prevent bursting during baking.
