Description
Warm, flaky crescent rolls stuffed with creamy sausage filling and a zesty twist from fire-roasted tomatoes and green chilies—perfect for brunches, potlucks, or lazy weekends.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound of mild breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 6 ounces of cream cheese, softened
- 1 (10 oz) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes with green chilies, well-drained
- 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cans of crescent roll dough
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine cooked sausage, cream cheese, drained tomatoes, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Unroll crescent dough and cut along perforated lines. Slice each triangle in half lengthwise to make 32 triangles.
- Place a spoonful of filling at the wide end of each triangle, roll up, and place seam-side down on the prepared sheet.
- Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown and fragrant.
- Let them cool for a minute before serving.
Notes
Drain tomatoes thoroughly to avoid soggy dough. Keep crescent dough cold until ready to use. Don’t overfill to prevent bursting during baking.
