- 8 slices thick-cut deli ham
- 2 tablespoons honey (raw or liquid)
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Optional: 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- Optional: 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, and garlic powder. Optionally add crushed red pepper flakes.
- Take each slice of ham and fold it into bite-sized parcels. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Generously brush each ham bite with the honey mustard glaze. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden and caramelized.
- Garnish with fresh parsley (optional) and serve warm.
Notes
Feel free to experiment with different types of ham, add cheese inside the parcels, or adjust the sweetness by using maple syrup or agave instead of honey.
