Description
These Pumpkin Pretzels are the perfect festive fall treat — sweet, salty, and super easy to make with kids. Ideal for Halloween, Thanksgiving, or cozy afternoons at home.
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 ounces of Wilton’s Orange Candy Melts
- 1 ½ cups of tiny twist pretzels (about 25 pieces)
- ¼ cup of green M&M candies (cut in half for the stems)
- Candy eyes (optional)
- White or black cookie icing (optional for decorating faces)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Use binder clips to keep it from sliding.
- Place orange candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until fully melted and smooth (about 1½ minutes total).
- Drop one pretzel into the melted candy and coat completely. Lift it out with a fork and let excess drip off.
- Place coated pretzel on parchment. Press half a green M&M on top for the stem while coating is still soft.
- Add candy eyes or use icing to decorate with Jack-o’-Lantern faces, if desired.
- Let pretzels set for about 5 minutes until firm.
- Store in an airtight container with parchment paper between layers.
Notes
Work quickly after dipping — the candy sets fast. Don’t overheat the candy melts. Use parchment to prevent sticking. Let them cool completely before stacking or storing.
