Description
Pilgrim Hat Cookies are a no-bake Thanksgiving treat that’s as fun to make as it is to eat. With just a few ingredients, these festive little hats double as dessert and decoration — perfect for kids, parties, or edible gifts.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 24 mini Reese’s peanut butter cups (dark chocolate)
- 24 Keebler fudge-striped cookies
- Mini M&Ms in fall colors (red, yellow, and orange)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips and peanut butter together in 20–30 second intervals until smooth.
- Let the mixture cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a piping bag or ziplock bag.
- Place fudge-striped cookies striped-side down on the parchment paper.
- Pipe a small circle of the melted mixture in the center of each cookie.
- Press a mini Reese’s peanut butter cup upside down onto each cookie.
- Add a mini M&M to the “band” of chocolate to look like a buckle.
- Let the cookies set at room temperature or refrigerate briefly until firm.
Notes
Let the melted chocolate cool slightly before piping to prevent mess. Use different colored M&Ms or sprinkles to customize. These store well in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
