- Large marshmallows
- Orange sparkly gel
- Black sparkly gel
- Edible glitter spray
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven according to your sugar cookie dough directions.
- Roll out dough and cut into round shapes. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake until golden at the edges, then cool completely.
- Slice bottom third off marshmallows so they sit flat. Use gels to draw snowman faces.
- Whisk powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth icing forms.
- Spoon icing onto cooled cookies to resemble melting snow. Spray lightly with edible glitter.
- Place a marshmallow head on each cookie and use black gel to draw arms and buttons.
Notes
Cool cookies completely before icing. Use thicker icing for best results. Decorate quickly before the icing sets.
