Ingredients
Scale
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
- Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until smooth.
- Season chicken generously on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Brush the skin side of each thigh with the maple Dijon glaze and place on the baking sheet, skin-side up.
- Roast for 35 to 40 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), brushing with extra glaze halfway through.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Drizzle with pan juices or remaining glaze if desired.
Notes
Use pure maple syrup for the best flavor. Pat chicken dry for crispier skin. Add rosemary or thyme for an herby twist, and don’t overcrowd the pan to allow proper roasting.
