These Honey Garlic Chicken Bites are the perfect balance of savory and sweet, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They are quick and easy to make, and loved by the whole family!

- 1 lb boneless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Optional garnishes: 1/4 cup chopped green onions, 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry, cut into 1½-inch pieces, and season with salt and pepper.
- Coat the chicken pieces in cornstarch, shaking off the excess.
- Heat 2 tbsp neutral oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken in batches for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temp). Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
- In the same skillet, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Stir and bring to a gentle boil. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss in the sauce until coated. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

Serve with steamed rice, sautéed veggies, or a fresh salad. You can make this recipe gluten-free by using tamari and ensuring your cornstarch is gluten-free.
