Description
Golden biscuit bombs filled with juicy cheeseburger goodness and topped with buttery garlic parmesan—perfect for busy weeknights, meal prep, or crowd-pleasing comfort food.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella/Colby blend)
- 1 can (16 oz / 450 g) refrigerated biscuit dough
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium. Sauté diced onion until soft, about 3 minutes.
- Add garlic, ground beef, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and crumbly. Drain excess grease.
- Off heat, stir in shredded cheese. Let mixture cool slightly.
- Flatten each biscuit into a 4–5 inch round. Spoon 2 tablespoons of filling into the center and wrap dough around, pinching to seal. Place seam-side down on baking sheet.
- In a bowl, combine melted butter, Parmesan, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush tops of each dough ball generously.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until puffed and golden.
- Let cool a few minutes before serving. Serve with marinara, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Let filling cool before stuffing to make sealing easier. Don’t overfill to avoid bursting. Add Parmesan directly to baking sheet for crispier bottoms. Freeze unbaked bombs and bake from frozen at 350°F for 25–30 minutes.
