Description

Garlic Butter Salmon and Broccoli is a quick, healthy, and delicious meal combining tender salmon with a rich, flavorful garlic butter sauce, paired with perfectly steamed broccoli. This family-friendly recipe is easy to make in just 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lb salmon fillets (about 4 servings)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 lemon, zested, and cut into wedges
  • 1 lb broccoli florets
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and place them on the baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, parsley, and lemon zest.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture generously over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  6. While the salmon bakes, steam the broccoli. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Once everything is ready, serve the garlic butter salmon with steamed broccoli, a lemon wedge, and extra fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

You can substitute the broccoli with other vegetables like asparagus, green beans, or roasted carrots. For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
