- 1.5 lb salmon fillets (about 4 servings)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 lemon, zested, and cut into wedges
- 1 lb broccoli florets
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and place them on the baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, parsley, and lemon zest.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture generously over the top of each salmon fillet.
- Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- While the salmon bakes, steam the broccoli. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Once everything is ready, serve the garlic butter salmon with steamed broccoli, a lemon wedge, and extra fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
You can substitute the broccoli with other vegetables like asparagus, green beans, or roasted carrots. For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
