Description
This Fresh Cranberry Salsa is tart, sweet, spicy, and ready in just 10 minutes — the perfect vibrant addition to your holiday table or weeknight appetizer spread.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 ounces fresh cranberries (or thawed frozen, patted dry)
- 2 medium jalapeños, seeded and diced
- ⅓ cup chopped red onion
- 3–4 tablespoons organic cane sugar
- 3–4 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
- ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
- ½ cup chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Rinse and dry the cranberries. Discard any bruised or soft ones.
- Place cranberries in a food processor and pulse 8–10 times until chunky.
- Add jalapeños, onion, sugar, lime juice, and salt. Pulse again until evenly chopped.
- Taste and adjust with more sugar, lime, or salt if needed.
- Add chopped cilantro and pulse 2–3 more times.
- Transfer to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
For extra heat, keep jalapeño seeds. Letting it chill is key — flavors meld beautifully. Avoid over-processing for a chunkier texture.
