Description

These crispy air fryer mushrooms are quick, healthy, and full of flavor. Perfect for a snack or appetizer, they require minimal effort and are sure to please everyone in the family.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound of mushrooms (button or cremini work best, but you can use any kind)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, but they add an extra level of crunch)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Clean and trim your mushrooms, slicing them into bite-sized pieces if needed.
  3. Toss mushrooms with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add breadcrumbs for extra crunch if desired.
  4. Arrange mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch, marinara, or garlic aioli.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use almond flour or gluten-free breadcrumbs. Adjust seasoning to taste for extra heat or flavor, like adding cayenne pepper or smoked paprika.
