Description

There are some drinks that just hit differently. This cookies and cream milkshake is cold, creamy, full of cookie chunks, and comes together in about five minutes. It is an easy homemade treat that tastes even better than the drive-through version.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Extra crushed cookies, for garnish
  • Chocolate syrup, optional

Instructions

  1. Add the vanilla ice cream and milk to a blender.
  2. Blend on medium until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies.
  4. Pulse a few times to keep some cookie chunks in the milkshake.
  5. Pour into tall glasses.
  6. Top with whipped cream, extra crushed cookies, and chocolate syrup if using.
  7. Serve immediately while cold and thick.

Notes

Use less milk for a thicker milkshake and more milk for a thinner one. Pulse the cookies instead of fully blending so you keep the classic cookies and cream texture. For extra flavor, swap the vanilla ice cream for cookies and cream ice cream.
