Description

These Christmas Oreo Balls are rich, festive, and irresistibly easy. With just a few ingredients and zero baking, these truffle-like bites are the perfect holiday treat for gifting, sharing, or snacking straight from the fridge.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreo cookies (classic chocolate, not double-stuffed)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 10 ounces dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 10 ounces white vanilla melting wafers
  • Christmas sprinkles, for decoration

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos: Pulse Oreo cookies in a food processor until finely ground into crumbs.
  2. Mix in Cream Cheese: Add softened cream cheese and pulse or stir until a thick, sticky dough forms.
  3. Shape the Balls: Use a mini cookie scoop to form dough into balls. Roll between palms for a smooth finish. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate or freeze the Oreo balls for about 30 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt the Chocolate: Melt dark chocolate wafers in the microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip and Decorate: Dip half of the chilled balls in dark chocolate. Tap off excess and return to parchment. Sprinkle immediately with Christmas sprinkles.
  7. Repeat with White Chocolate: Melt white chocolate and dip remaining Oreo balls. Decorate right away.
  8. Chill Until Set: Refrigerate dipped Oreo balls for 15–20 minutes or until firm.

Notes

Use high-quality chocolate for best results. Chill dough before dipping to prevent melting. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 2 months. Customize with peppermint extract, peanut butter, or different Oreos for endless variations.
