Description

Fun, festive, and packed with holiday flavor, these Christmas Kitchen Sink Cookies are loaded with colorful candies, salty mix-ins, and cozy vanilla cookie dough. Perfect for gifting, cookie trays, or a family baking day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup salted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 egg yolks, room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup red and green M&M’s
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup pretzel pieces
  • 1/3 cup potato chip pieces
  • 2 tbsp red and green jimmies

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  3. Mix in egg yolks and vanilla until smooth and pale.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in M&M’s, white chocolate chips, pretzel pieces, potato chips, and sprinkles.
  6. Scoop dough into 20 balls and place 2 inches apart on baking sheets.
  7. Top each cookie with a few extra mix-ins for a festive look.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes. 10 for chewy, 12 for crisp edges.
  9. Optional: swirl a round cookie cutter around each warm cookie to make it perfectly circular.
  10. Cool 5 minutes on sheet, then transfer to wire rack to finish cooling.

Notes

Spoon and level your flour to avoid dry cookies. Add a teaspoon of cornstarch for extra chewiness. Round cookies with a cutter while warm for bakery-style presentation. Dough freezes well, and mix-ins can be customized to your pantry.
