Ingredients
Scale
- 16 ounces of salmon (four 4-ounce pieces)
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon of paprika
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper (or to taste)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Rinse the salmon pieces under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, Dijon mustard, salt, brown sugar, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper. Stir well.
- Place the salmon in a shallow dish or resealable bag and coat with the marinade. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the marinated salmon in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8–10 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the salmon is opaque and flaky.
- Remove salmon from the air fryer, let it rest for 2 minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For crispy skin, dry the salmon thoroughly before applying the marinade. You can adjust seasonings to taste, adding cayenne pepper for spice or fresh herbs like dill for variation.
